If you've been listening to the Mindful Minute for a while, you know I talk a lot about putting action behind your faith. However, it is very important we don't get caught up in the action. Don't get caught in the act! Get caught up in the belief which leads to action. You see, many well-meaning Christians get caught up in forming good habits rather than forming the character and beliefs that lead to those good habits. Don't get me wrong, forming habits around praying and reading God's Word are good, especially for newer believers. However, at some point these habits should be there out of a hunger to know God more, not just a rule to follow. Now, go get caught in your belief this week!
