People tend to move in a direction that is comfortable to them. More accurately, they tend to move AWAY from discomfort. This is why so many of us and our children experience a little something called peer pressure. When you feel or see your children experience peer pressure, remember it is natural. However, with proper character in place, the peer pressure will not overwhelm the pressure to do the right thing. We must develop and ensure our children develop a desire to please God and not to offend or hurt Him. This desire MUST be stronger than the desire to please or offend anyone else. Without this desire, we will succumb to negative peer pressure time and time again.
