This week's topic is fear, which comes up every so often in our house.  A little healthy fear can be a good thing and can be a means to protect you.  For instance, you don't want your little ones jumping up into the arms of a stranger, but you don't want them to be crippled with unhealthy fear either.  Fear is a sign that there is a lack of trust in someone or something, so think about who or what they don't trust to determine whether or not it is a healthy fear.  Not trusting a stranger can be a healthy fear.  Not trusting our creator with our lives is an unhealthy fear.  Remember, we must guide our children toward trust in God which will calm many of life's unhealthy fears.

How are you and/or your family battling fear this week?
